Stoichiometry Calculator

Calculate moles in chemical reactions

Stoichiometry Formula

Moles Desired = (Moles Given × Coefficient Desired) / Coefficient Given

Stoichiometry uses the mole ratios from balanced chemical equations to calculate the amounts of reactants and products in a reaction.

Example

For the reaction: 2H₂ + O₂ → 2H₂O
If you have 2 moles of H₂, you can produce 2 moles of H₂O (coefficient ratio 2:2).
